Garowe: 28 – 29 June 2022: ALGAPL Board members attended the UNJPLG review meeting, which is held annually to share accomplishments, challenges and the way forward.
At the review, representatives of the government sector, district mayors, and regional governors discussed their roles in ensuring the success of the program in their respective districts.
The association of local Government authorities of Puntland is an organization that has always been committed to representing, advocating and improving the quality-of-service delivery in the districts; the association participated in the conference with a comprehensive presentation outlining the activities, achievements and challenges faced by the organization from the period Jan – June 2022.
The association further emphasized the importance of the municipalities play a vital role enabling communities participate in decision making and have equitable access to basic services.
