The Association of local government authorities of Puntland – ALGAPL conducted an official field visit to five districts across Puntland, led by the Executive Director, Mr. Mohamed Abdi Xalwad.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by the Mayors, District Secretaries, and Heads of Departments, highlighting the strong cooperation and partnership between ALGAPL and Puntland local governments.
🎯 The key objectives of the visit included:
• Exchanging updates on district priorities and ALGAPL ongoing programs
• Strengthening coordination and collaboration between districts and ALGAPL
• Identifying key challenges and needs related to capacity building and institutional development within local governments.
As part of strengthening engagement and increasing ALGAPL’s visibility, the Executive Director also presented small appreciation gifts to district leadership.
