The Association of Local Government Authorities of Puntland (ALGAPL) is pleased to announce that its General Assembly Conference will take place in Garoowe, Puntland, Somalia, at Hotel Martisoor, over the course of two days: September 7–8, 2025.
This significant event will bring together Mayors from districts across Puntland, as well as key stakeholders, development partners, civil society organizations (CSOs), and government officials to engage in discussions critical to the advancement of local governance in Puntland.
Day One of the conference will feature Official Opening Ceremony, Keynote Presentations, and Panel Discussions.
Day Two will be dedicated to the election of the ALGAPL Chairman and Deputy Chairman, marking a pivotal moment in shaping the future leadership and direction of the organization.
This conference represents a major milestone for ALGAPL and reaffirms its commitment to strengthening local governance, enhancing collaboration, and promoting inclusive development across Puntland.
