workshop On Districts Executive Secretaries Experience Sharing and Enhancing Collaboration
Garowe, Puntland – ALGAPL successfully conducted a two–day Local Government Executive Secretaries Workshop. The workshop was attended by 11 Executive Secretaries from the districts in Puntland, other participants from ALGAPL and MOIFAD staff. aimed at enhancing knowledge sharing, promotion, collaboration, and strengthening cooperation among local government secretaries.
The training sessions focused on to strengthen the capacity of local government executive secretaries through tailored training on governance, taxation, and financial management. it also sought to enhance collaboration by fostering knowledge sharing and advocacy through the ALGAPL. additionally, the training provide a platform for communication and experience exchange, enabling local governments to address challenges in service delivery and institutional management more effectively.
Organized and facilitated by the ALGAPL with the support from UN–HABITAT the partner of ALGAPL, the training served as platform for exchange experiences and reinforcing the role of secretaries in effective local administration.
The workshop was officially opened by the Mohamed Ali Farah, General Director at the Puntland ministry of interior.
